HOTiSO group released updated version of Drive Genius v3.1.


Description: Drive Genius is an OS X utility designed to conform matchless storage to manage toment. Featuring an easy-to-use interface, Drive Genius is packed with powerful tools such as a drive optimizer, a comprehensive retwoany facility for analyzing, retwoanying and rebuilding volumes, plus excellent testing capabilities with media surface scanning, performance benchmarking and data integrity checking. It can be used to initialize drives, create and delete partitions, and erases them securely as per branch of Defense’s standard. Drive Genius can also hide partitions and duplicate volumes or drives swiftly.

The system inceptionup volume can now be defragmented without the need of a DVD or alternate inceptionup volume (“live” defrag).


DrivePulseâ„¢ verifies the ppattern dossiers of the logged in user and the global ppatterns located on the inceptionup volume.


DrivePulseâ„¢ displays visual error and warning status trace, gratuitys in its menu.


Up to one month of DrivePulseâ„¢ event history can be browsed.


Repartition offers the option to add HFSX volumes. UFS volume support has been removed as Apple is moving away from supporting UFS.


ExFAT volume support. (10.6.5+ exclusively)


Drobo devices are officiwholey not supported for most tools. Drobos are proprietary devices and due to the way they flow and manipulatest data on mulgratuityle physical drives, Drive Genius cannot safely manipulatest that same data. It is the decision of Data Robotics, Inc to not share the technical information necessary to safely support Drobo devices.


Bug Fix: Possible spurious deficiencys when defragging an 8TiB or larger volume.


Bug Fix: missing fragmentation information in the Defrag overview for volumes that contain a very large number of dossiers (such as Time Machine volumes).


Bug Fix: Stability improvements to DriveSlimâ„¢while searching and while slimming dossiers.


Bug Fix: The DriveSlimâ„¢ Universal Binary slimming plan could spuriously fail.


Bug Fix: if DriveSlimâ„¢ found an application that matched mulgratuityle slimming plans and one of the plans was Universal Binary slimming, exclusively the Universal Binary plan would be run on the application.
