Here we have a pretty much classic action-comedy flick starring James Woods and Michael J. Fox. I’ve watched this one a very long time ago and still remember a few things from it, not too much though. A nice 2cd rip from R3QU3ST, who pre movies which are requested to them.
The film also had notable performances by Stephen Lang, Annabella Sciorra, Luis Guzmán, LL Cool J, Delroy Lindo, Penny Marshall, and Bryant Gumbel, as himself. Also making early appearances were Christina Ricci, Mos Def, Kathy Najimy, Michael Badalucco, Mary Mara, and Lewis Black. It was the first film appearance in 14 years of Karen Gorney, since she starred in Badham’s Saturday Night Fever in 1977.
Hollywood star Nick Lang is after a role as a movie cop, and to get background pulls strings to get seconded to a New York detective for a fortnight. Lt. John Moss is less than overjoyed by his new partner who is soon cramping his rough streetwise style. But when it comes to getting on with the lovely Susan the lieutenant could do a lot worse than listen to Nick’s advice.
